other things at the study and promotion of the poet&#8217;s work, announces the 2nd Pan-Cretan Student Contest for the academic year 2022-2023 in the categories: POETRY and SHORT STORY.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9bca58e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9bca58e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The contest aims to enhance teenagers&#8217; self-expression and support the Literature and Composition curriculum in Secondary Education.<\/p><p>Vitsentzos Kornaros&#8217;s Erotokritos, an emblematic work of the Cretan Renaissance and an integral part of the European poetic tradition, continues to be a source of inspiration and creation to this day.<\/p><p><em>Of all the beauties man possesses, words have the grace<\/em><br\/><em>to bring comfort to every heart;<\/em><br\/><em>and whoever knows how to speak with knowledge and manner,<\/em><br\/><em>makes people&#8217;s eyes both weep and laugh.<\/em><br\/><em>A, 887-890<\/em><\/p><p>Students are invited to freely compose an original literary
