Friendship, trust, brotherly devotion, love, commitment to the idea of self-determination, the concept of honor and personal dignity, and romance are some of the themes that are harmoniously interwoven in Erotokritos and embody the spirit and style of the Renaissance era. These themes, on which the students\u2019 creative work will focus, are refined and adapted each year.  <\/p><p>The contest consists of two categories: Poetry and Short Story, and is open to students at secondary schools in Crete.
