Museum kit
As part of its educational objectives, the VITSENTZOS KORNAROS Cultural Center is planning, with the assistance of a museum educator, to design and build a museum kit centered on the Kornaric epic Erotokritos and its poet, Vitsentzos Kornaros.
The museum kit will be made available to the educational community, and “hopes” to travel to schools across Greece, offering students studying Erotokritos and their teachers the opportunity to discover the work and its creator through an alternative teaching approach, with the help of specially designed educational materials.
Through imaginative activities, rich visual materials, and a variety of audiovisual stimuli, students will relive the spirit of Kornaros’s era, explore aspects of this iconic poem, reflect on the themes it addresses, and be able to transform its virtues and values into a guiding compass for their lives through hands-on experience.
