BOOK PRESENTATION “Adolescent Problems – Management” by Tasos Anastasakis

The book “Adolescent Problems – Management” by Tasos Anastasakis, published by the Medical Association of Lasithi, is addressed to parents, teaching staff, and adolescents, and refers to common problems they face daily. “It is a valuable aid to every parent,” as noted in the book’s introduction by the President of the Medical Association, Mr. Konstantinos Nikolarakis, “but also an antidote to the easily digestible and often unscientific views by which parents and children are inundated through modern prevailing forms of digital information.”

The book will be approached from different perspectives, addressing issues of family-parental roles, emotional fluctuations in adolescents, school life, and generational evolution

The event will be coordinated by Katerina Goulielmou, a member of the management committee of the VITSENTZOS KORNAROS SHELTER.

Mr. Tasos Anastasakis was born in Agios Nikolaos. He studied medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he earned his doctorate in 1981. He was a member of the Pancretan Greek and American Pediatric Societies and is honorary president of the Medical Association of Lasithi. He served children and their families for more than 35 years in his hometown.
