As part of the 4th Pan-Cretan Student Literary Competition of the VITSENTZOS KORNAROS Foundation, a special and warm meeting took place between the awarded students and two of the Judges (Mr. Michalis Albatis – Author and Ms. Anna Roussomoustakaki – Philologist, Author), the responsible educators Ms. Eleni Founta (for the 1st Experimental High School of Chania) and Ms. Matina Meidani (for the 7th High School of Heraklion), as well as members of the V.K. Foundation.
The meeting was held on July 13, 2025, at the welcoming premises of the Foundation, in a beautiful, creative atmosphere.The students had the opportunity to discuss with the judges, hear observations and thoughts on their works, ask questions and express opinions, and participate in a meaningful dialogue about literature and the inspiration behind the written word.
It was a valuable experience for all the children, who felt that their words were read with care and appreciation. At the same time, there was widespread emotion and enthusiasm for the opportunity to communicate with people of intellect and education.
