Moments from the opening of the exhibition “Syroes – Protect water, preserve the future”, which took place on Wednesday, October 22, at the Vitsentzos Kornaros Shelter in Sitia.
The exhibition by the Postgraduate Department of Environmental Architecture at the Royal College of Art in London highlights the relationship between humans and the natural environment, prompted by the attempted drilling above Sitano without environmental permits.
“Syroes” travels from village to village, collecting stories, models, and maps — a reminder that what happens on the surface touches the depths of the earth.
