SBV – Vitsentzos Kornaros Shelter
Beach Volley returns to Sitia with an event that aims to transcend the boundaries of a simple sports tournament and evolve into a grand celebration of sports, culture, and entertainment for the entire city!
The event draws inspiration from the history, tradition, and cultural heritage of Sitia, with special reference to the great poet and creator Vitsentzos Kornaros, connecting sports with the identity and history of our region.
The event is held under the auspices of the Vitsentzos Kornaros Shelter, while the co-organizers of this new athletic event in our city are SITIAKOS A.O. and the Municipality of Sitia.
Our goal is for Beach Volley to become an institution for Sitia, an institution that will annually bring athletes and visitors from all over Crete to the city, fill the beaches with athletic activity, and highlight Sitia as a place where sports, culture, and extroversion creatively converge.
🔥 One court. One city. One grand celebration!
