The book “Adolescent Problems – Addressing Them” by Tassos Anastasakis, published by the Medical Association of Lasithi, is aimed at parents, teaching staff, and adolescents, and addresses common problems they face daily. “It is a valuable aid for every parent,” as noted in the book’s introduction by the President of the Medical Association, Mr. Konstantinos Nikolarakis, “but also an antidote to the easily digestible and often unscientific views that inundate parents and children through modern prevailing forms of digital information.”

The event was coordinated by Katerina Goulielmou, a member of the management committee of Stegi VITSENTZOS KORNAROS.

Mr. Tassos Anastasakis was born in Agios Nikolaos. He studied medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he received his doctorate in 1981. He was a member of the Pancretan Hellenic and American Pediatric Societies and is an honorary president of the Medical Association of Lasithi. He served children and their families for more than 35 years in his hometown.
